Serial Control Device Startup

If you have not already done so, attach the serial control device to the CONTROL port on the enclosure (see page 20) and open the control program.

AMX Control Devices

The Precis SD is compatible with a number of AMX control devices. For specific control programming information, contact your AMX representative.

APControl 3.0

If you are using APControl 3.0, install and open the program. Follow the directions in the setup wizard. From the Launchbar menu, select Views / CrossBar and click on the crosspoints to execute switches.

APWeb

For startup information, see the APWeb Server Module documentation.

HyperTerminal

When power is applied to the enclosure, HyperTerminal displays a short splash screen followed by

Ready(FIG. 16). The system is ready to disconnect the factory default switch and to execute a test switch (see page 31). FIG. 16 shows an example of a short splash screen on power-up.

Precis SD models display advanced system information when the command ~scr! is entered (see Appendix B on page 55).
