Customize EFI Logging Options

Log EFI Status Codes

Select Enabled to log EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) Status Codes, Error Codes or Progress Codes. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

Note: After making changes on a setting, be sure to reboot the system for the changes to take effect.

BMC Network Configuration

LAN Channel 1: This feature allows the user to configure the settings for LAN1 Port.

Update IPMI LAN Configuration

This feature allows the user to decide if the BIOS should configure the IPMI setting at next system boot. The options are No and Yes. If the option is set to Yes, the user is allow to configure the IPMI settings at next system boot:

Configuration Address Source

This feature allows the user to select the source of the IP address for this com- puter. If Static is selected, you will need to know the IP address of this computer and enter it to the system manually in the field. If DHCP is selected, the BIOS will search for a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server in the network that is attached to and request the next available IP address for this computer. The options are DHCP and Static. The following items are assigned IP addresses automatically if DHCP is selected.

Station IP Address

This item displays the Station IP address for this computer. This should be in decimal and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).

Subnet Mask

This item displays the sub-network that this computer belongs to. The value of each three-digit number separated by dots should not exceed 255.

Station Mac Address

This item displays the Station Mac address for this computer. Mac addresses are 6 two-digit hexadecimal numbers.

Gateway IP Address

This item displays the Gateway IP address for this computer. This should be in decimal and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).
