| this mode, the PSM mode will NOT take effect and | |

| the Preamble function will be enabled. |
TX Power | Choose the TX (transmission) Power according to |
| the real environment. If you want to lower the |
| transmit power of the adapter for saving the |
| power of the system, you can select the lower |
| percentages from the list. The lower power |
| will cause the lower signal strength and the |
| coverage range. The default setting is “Auto”. |
Preamble | The preamble defines the length of the CRC (cyclic |
| redundancy check) block when communicating |
| among the wireless networks. There are two types |
| of preamble: Auto and Long Preamble. Intensive |
| network traffic areas should use the short preamble |
| type. |
RTS Threshold | Here it defines the minimum packet size required for |
| RTS (Request to Send). Select a value within a range |
| of 0 to 2347 bytes. Normally, if there are no hiding |
| nodes problems, the values no need to be altered. |
Fragment Threshold | The value defines the maximum size of packets; any |
| packet size larger than the value will be fragmented. |
If you have decreased this value and experience higher packet error rates, you can increase the value again, but it will likely decrease the overall network performance. Select a value within the range of 256 to 2346 bytes. The default value is 2346.
