Chapter 3: Product Specification

3.1DC Power Supply Module

The DC Power Supply Module specification is described as follows:

Input topology:

Four-terminal DC input power connector for each Power Supply Module.

Connector type:

Screw barrier connectors.

Input voltage:

-38 to -75 VDC (nominal -48 to -60 VDC)

Maximum input current:

7.0 Amps

Note: maximum input current is measured at the lowest input voltage that the power supply continues to operate. This is not the same as used for determining agency input current markings.

Input power:

200 Watts, fully equipped

3.2AC Power Supply Module

The AC Power Supply Module specification is described as follows:

Input topology:

AC input power connectors for AC-input Power Supply Cage. The lower AC connector connects to the right hand Power Supply Module as viewed from the rear. The upper AC connector connects to the left hand Power Supply Module as viewed from the rear.

Note: A second Power Supply Module is a customer installed option.

Connector type:

IEC 320 mains input connector.

Input voltage:

Auto-ranging for either: 100 to 127 VAC

200 to 240 VAC

Frequency range: 50/60 Hz

Maximum continuous input current: 2.5 Amps @ 100 to 127 VAC

1.2 Amps @ 200 to 240 VAC

Input power:

230 Watts, fully equipped

3.3Signaling Links

The signaling link specification is described as follows:

Signaling links:

The number of signaling links depends on the product variant, which determines the type and number of SS7 Signaling Boards included. See Section 2.11, “Applicability” on page 14 for more information.

Source:

PCM (T1/E1) interface

SS7 (V.11) serial interface (for SS7G21 only).

Data rate:

48 kbit/s, 56 kbit/s and 64 kbit/s.

Timeslot:

Fully programmable.
