3.11Environmental Specifications

The environmental specifications for the SS7G21 and SS7G22 are described as follows:

Temperature, operating:

+5°C to +40°C (+41°F to +104°F)

Temperature, non-operating:-40°C to 70°C (-104°F to 158°F)

Humidity, non-operating:

95%, non-condensing at temperatures of 23°C to 40°C (73°F to 104°F)

Acoustic:

Sound pressure: < 55 dBA at ambient temperatures < 28°C measured at bystander positions in operating mode

3.12Product Reliability

Product reliability varies depending on the number of Power Supply Modules and the number of Dialogic® SS7 Signaling Boards. Table 2 shows the values of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) for Single power supply operation, but for Dual power supply operation it shows the values of Mean Time Between Interruption (MTBI). The MTBI values are valid on the assumption that a failed Power Supply Module is replaced within a reasonable period of time.
