Appendix E
Error Codes
The most common error codes transmitted by the Printer are described below.
Lower case “c” | Printer received a data byte from the host that contains a |
| framing error (corrupted) due to noise. |
Lower case "e" | Memory module won't clear. Retry after a <STX> W |
| command. |
Lower case “v” | Input buffer overflow. |
Upper case “I” | This means that an invalid command sequence was sent to |
| the Printer. The Printer did not understand the command |
| sequence and terminated the command interpreter. |
Upper case “R” | This code will be sent every time the Printer is turned on, |
| this means there was a hardware reset. |
Upper case “T” | This means that the Printer has had a watchdog |
| condition. This is how a software reset occurs. A software |
| reset is made by sending the command sequence to the |
| Printer or by doing a front panel reset. |
BELL HEX “07” | This is usually returned on a corrupt image download, or if |
| you try to load an image that is already installed in the |
| module. |
