6.1Cleaning Schedule

The following table provides a recommended cleaning schedule for various parts of your printer.

CAUTION

For your safety and to avoid damaging the Printer, always power off and unplug the unit before cleaning.

Area	Method	Interval
Printhead	Using isopropyl alcohol and a cotton	Clean after each
	swab, clean the printhead from end to	roll of ribbon or

Platen Roller	Rotate the platen, cleaning it thoroughly	Clean after each
