Chapter 2 Basic Validator Setup

RESET: This button is used in the calibration procedure and possible troubleshooting situations. Except in these specific circumstances, the RESET button should not be used.

Validator goes into calibration mode

 

 

More than 6 seconds

Resets validator to factory calibration and

 

turns off scanning beam

 

 

CAUTION Do not lift the printer by the validator unit or by the lower bracket.

CAUTION The validator contains sensitive electronic equipment. Do not jar or drop the unit.
