5.2.6Multiple Subscriber Number (MSN)

Usually two telephone numbers are automatically assigned to an OnRamp service. Before an MSN number is entered into the AT command registers on the ATA, phoning any subscribed number from another phone service will make an attached phone ring. It is possible to have up to eight phone numbers on a single OnRamp service by requesting them from Telstra. The ATA picks up all phone calls unless a specific number is set up for MSN in the ATA for exclusive pick up. Exclusive pick up would be used when the ATA is meant to respond to calls on a different phone number to another device on the same OnRamp service.
