Configuring Timeouts Commands
To change timeouts parameters, use the following commands as appropriate, in

Step 1 |

Configures the call disconnect timeout value in | ||
| seconds | seconds. Valid entries range from 0 to 120. The |

| default is 60. |
Step 2 |
|
|
Sets the number of seconds that the system waits | ||

| between the caller input of the initial digit and the |
|
| subsequent digit of the dialed string. If the wait |
|
| time expires before the destination is identified, a |
|
| tone sounds and the call ends. The seconds |
|
| argument is the initial timeout duration. A valid |
|
| entry is an integer from 0 to 120. The default is 10. |
Step 3 |

|
Configures the number of seconds that the system | ||
|
| waits after the caller has input the initial digit or a |
|
| subsequent digit of the dialed string. If the timeout |
|
| ends before the destination is identified, a tone |
|
| sounds and the call ends. This value is important |
|
| when using |

| patterns (dial plans). The seconds argument is the |
|
| interdigit timeout wait time in seconds. A valid |
|
| entry is an integer from 0 to 120. The default is 10. |
Step 4 |

Specifies the duration that the voice port allows | ||
