Connecting the server to the ELAN

Connect the CallPilot server to the Meridian 1 switch or Succession 1000 system using the ELAN.

To comply with EMC radiation requirements, a Class A | ||

| hub must be located 10 m (33 ft.) away from the 1002rp | |
| server. Shielded Ethernet cables must be used. |
Media Access Control address
The Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique number assigned to network cards and controllers. The procedure below asks you to record the ELAN MAC address. The MAC address is recorded on a label affixed to the back of the chassis.
To connect the server to the ELAN

2Locate the MAC address label on the back of the chassis that identifies the ELAN controller MAC address.
