To start the server

Step Action

1Press the server power switch to start the server.

2Observe the Power-On Self Test (POST) and initialization messages on the monitor.

3Let the mini-setup sequence run until you are prompted to login to the operating system.

Note: The system may perform multiple reboots. This is normal.

4Ensure that the operating system logon window appears on the monitor.

Note: If the logon window does not appear, refer to the 1002rp Server Maintenance and Diagnostics (NN44200-701) guide for troubleshooting instructions.
