4.7APC Silcon Battery Cabinets
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
aThe installation of battery drawers in UPS cabinets requires battery knowledge and should be made or supervised by qualified personnel only. Keep unauthorized personnel away from batteries.
bUse identical battery types and numbers when replacing batteries. See battery supplier manual for further details.
cCAUTION - Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Battery may explode.
dCAUTION - Batteries are fully charged on delivery. Do not short battery terminals or DC terminals.
eCAUTION - Avoid rough treatment and opening of batteries. Released electrolyte is harmful to skin and eyes and may be toxic.
fCAUTION - Batteries may cause electric shocks and high voltage
1Remove watches, rings and other metal objects.
2Use tools with insulated handles.
3Wear rubber gloves and boots.
4Do not leave tools or metal parts on top of batteries.
5Disconnect charging source prior to connecting batteries.

NEVER lift or transport connected or installed batteries.

For reliability reasons do not stand on the UPS. keep the UPS cabinet surface free of any objects.
