For *NETSTATE, “Network Ready” means your modem is connected on the cellular network and waiting for connections. “Network Dormant” means the modem is connected and waiting for con- nections but the connection has been idle. In either state, the modem is ready for the steps in the next section.

Configuring the Intial IP Address for the Host RJ-11 IP

 

Gateway without a Raven-E

 

The configuration interface for the Host RJ-11 IP Gateway is web-based, to be able to access the

 

interface you will need to connect the Host RJ-11 IP Gateway to a computer using Ethernet.

 

If you are using a Raven-E with the Host RJ-11 IP Gateway, you do not need to use

 

this utility, skip this section.

 

If you are able to use the default IP address of the Host RJ-11 IP Gateway, you,

The Port Utility should automatically detect the Host RJ-11 IP Gateway. It may take a short while for the device to be displayed.
