CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION

1.1Overview

The Acnodes RMC7132 is a high-end single processor, 1U rack- mount server. The RMC7132 is comprised of two main subsystems: the RMC7132 chassis and the embedded board. Please refer to our web site for informa- tion on operating systems that have been certified for use with the RMC7132.

In addition to the mainboard and chassis, various hardware components may have been included with the RMC7132, as listed below.

o One CPU heatsink

oTwo 10-cm blower fans o One air shroud

o One slim DVD-ROM drive

o One internal USB cable for DVD-ROM drive

o One SATA to USB adapter for DVD-ROM drive

o SATA Accessories:

One internal SATA backplane

Two sets of SATA cables

One SGPIO cable

Two 3.5" SATA drive carriers

o One PCI-E x16 slot riser card

o Rackmount hardware with screws

o One CD containing drivers and utilities
