Before You Install Software

Before you install a software driver, you may want to run the Configuration and Diagnostic Program, as described in Chapter 4.

See the instructions in Chapter 3 to install the driver from the 3Com diskette. For information on LED states after the software is installed, see Table 4-1 in Chapter 4.

Be sure that the NIC hardware and software are installed correctly before replacing the computer cover.
