3At the following prompts, make these selections:

Installation Options: Driver Options

Driver Options: Configure Network Drivers

Additional Driver Actions: Select a Driver

The installation proceeds.

4At the Select a Driver menu, insert the 3Com diskette in the drive.

5Press Insert to add a driver from the diskette.

6Press F3 to change the path to the drive that contains the 3Com diskette.

7At the DOS prompt, enter the path for the driver: nwserver\4.1x

The installation proceeds.

8At the prompt for NIC selection, select 3Com Token Ring-in-Fast Ethernet Driver.

As the installation continues, provide network information when prompted.

9When the installation is finished, exit to DOS and restart the server.

Installing the Windows NT Driver

Follow the instructions for Windows NT 3.51 or for

Windows NT 4.0.

Windows NT 3.51

Follow these steps to install the driver:

1Start Windows NT and log on.

2In the Control Panel, double-click Network.

3In the Network Settings window, click Add Adapter.

4In the Add Network Adapter window, scroll to (<other> Requires disk from manufacturer) and click Continue.

5Insert the 3Com diskette in the drive and make that the active drive.
