Meaning

NO CARTRIDGE

Print Cartridge is not installed properly or no cartridge

is installed in the machine.

 

 

 

NO. NOT ASSIGNED

There is no number assigned for the One-Touch button

or 2-digit Speed number you chose.

 

 

 

PAPER EMPTY

Printer is out of paper. If paper runs out while printing a

fax, the machine restarts fax printing when paper is

 

 

loaded.

 

 

PAPER JAM

Recording paper is jammed during printing. Clear the

paper jam, and press the Stop button.

 

 

PLEASE HOOK-ON

The handset is not in its cradle. Place the handset in its

cradle.

 

 

 

 

The machine you want to poll is not ready to answer

 

your poll. The person you are polling should have

POLLING ERROR

loaded their fax machine with a document.

 

 

This message also appears when you poll another fax

 

machine with an incorrect Poll Code.

 

 

TOO MUCH PAGES

You have tried to store more than 99 pages. One memory

job can store up to 99 pages.

 

 

 

RECEIVE ERROR

A fax has not been received successfully. Ask the sender

to try again.

 

SEND ERROR

Your fax has not gone through successfully. Try again.
