FAX Options

ÃYou can exit from Setup mode at any time by pressing Stop. When you press Stop, the machine stores the options youÕve already changed, and returns to the main menu item.

These instructions assume youÕve followed the steps above under ÔSetting an OptionÕ, and the machine is prompting you to change one of the options listed here.

¥DIAL TYPE_Select the type of dial system your fax machine is connected to.

Choose TONE if the fax machine is connected to a tone (Touch Tone) dial line. Choose PULSE if the fax machine is connected to a pulse (rotary) dial line. Whem powered off, the dial type is set to pulse, and returns to option setting with power on.

¥PAPER SIZE_Select the paper size you will use for the recording paper.

Choose LTR for letter, A4 for A4 size, or LGL to use legal size paper.
