machine beeps and returns to Standby Mode.

ÃYou can store One-Touch or Speed Dial numbers so that you can dial your most frequently used numbers with one touch of a button, or a 2-digit Speed Dial number.

ÃIf you make a mistake while

entering a number, move the cursor

under the wrong digit by using ¹ or , and correct the number.

ÃYou can cancel the transmission of a document at any time by pressing Stop.

ÃYou can send or receive a Voice Request signal while you send a fax by pressing OHD/V.Req.. See page 4.13.

ÃIf something went wrong during your transmission, an error message appears in the display. See page 8.11.

Press Stop to clear the message and try to send the document again.

You can set your machine to print out a confirmation report automatically.

Printing Your Name and Number (System ID)

Your name and fax number, which identifies your machine to the other machines, is automatically printed on the top of each page you send.

Automatic Redial

When you send a fax, if the number you have dialed is busy or there is no answer, the machine will automatically redial the number every three minutes up to two times.

Before redialing, the machine asks ÔBUSY! RETRY?Õ. If you want to redial the number immediately, press Start/Copy. To stop redialing, press Stop.
