Turning the Power On

Turning the Power Off

While in Operate Off mode (i.e., the OPERATE indicator is lit up in red), press the OPERATE button.

The power will turn on, the colour of the OPERATE indicator will change to green, and the DVD recorder will become ready for use. (Operate On mode)

Note

A period of 45 seconds may pass before the DVD recorder adopts Operate On mode as it prepares for operation.

Stop the DVD recorder.

(It is recommended that you eject the disc at this time.)

1.Press the OPERATE button.

The DVD recorder will adopt Operate Off mode and the colour of the OPERATE indicator will change to red.

2.If the DVD recorder will not be used for an extended period of time, disconnect the AC adaptor.

Before disconnecting the AC adaptor, be sure to remove the power cord from the electrical outlet.

Notes

Pressing the OPERATE button will have no effect in Recording mode or Recording Pause mode.

Pressing this button also has no effect during finalizing, erasing, and dubbing.
