Saving and Reading Edit Lists on the EDL MANAGER Screen

How to operate the EDL MANAGER screen and its contents

The EDL MANAGER screen is for registering edit lists (EDL). Event data from the REMOTE CONTROL screen of this machine can be saved as edit lists in the EDL MANAGER screen. Also, edit lists registered on the EDL MANAGER screen can be read into the event register list of the REMOTE CONTROL screen.

If a file is registered in the EDL item, the characters are blue.

In the case of an edit list for MASTER, “M” is displayed before the EDL item. In the case of an edit list for SLAVE, “S” is displayed before the EDL item.

Method of operation

Select the EDL item to be used, next select the function item, then execute.

(Example: Save the current setting value of the REMOTE CONTROL screen as EDL08.)

1.Select the EDL item to be used (EDL08).

Place the cursor on the EDL08 item and press the “Enter” key on the keyboard.

The EDL08 item is displayed as highlighted.

2.Move the cursor to the SAVE item, and press the “Enter” key.

The event data of the REMOTE CONTROL screen is saved in EDL08.

3.To finish operations on the EDL MANAGER screen select the BACK item, and press the “Enter” key.

The display returns to the REMOTE CONTROL screen.
