Registering IN/OUT/CHAPTER POINT from external edit lists

External edit lists can be read by the EDL MANAGER screen of this machine, and used as edit data in the REMOTE CONTROL screen.

Notes

Loading of external edit lists is possible when CHAPTER CREATION from the RECORDER MENU (2/2) screen is set to

MANUAL.

EDL that can be read in : In SLAVE mode CSV files or Sony9100 format files.

In MASTER mode CSV files only. CSV files have the same name for the MASTER or SLAVE modes, but the files are not compatible. Use the correct format files. (Refer to page 70 “Details of the MASTER mode CSV files”)

Chapter marks are inserted at GOP intervals (i.e., 15 frames). It will not be possible to insert chapter marks that are closer together than this interval.

Operation

To enter the state where edit lists can be transferred to the BD- X200.

1.Move the cursor to the EDL item you wish to register on the EDL MANAGER screen, then press the “Enter” key.

The selected EDL item will be highlighted.

2.Move the cursor to the IMPORT item on the EDL MANAGER screen, then press the “Enter” key on the keyboard.

The external edit list will be read into the EDL MANAGER screen.

3.To use the read edit list, select the LOAD item on the EDL MANAGER screen, and press the “Enter” key.

The edit list is set in the REMOTE CONTROL screen.
