SETTING THE RATING LEVEL

The Rating Level enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on a DVD. It reads the ratings for programming, then denies access to programming if the program’s rating meets the limitations you select. In this case, the user will have to enter a password.

At the PLAY SETUP MENU, use the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 1 to select RATING. Press the ENTER button 2 and then enter your password using the number buttons 3. The password is “1234”, unless it was changed in the CHANGING THE PASSWORD section below. Press the ENTER button 2 again; the Set Rating Level screen will appear.

Press the ENTER button 1 again to confirm. Press the SETUP button 3 to exit the setup menu or select "OK", then press the ENTER button 1 to exit the setting the Rating Level screen.

Follow step 1 above. Select NEW using the Navigation (¨) button 1, then press the ENTER button 2.

Enter the New Password using the Number buttons 1, then press the Navigation button ( ) 2 to access the Confirm Password field. Enter the New Password again using the Number buttons 1, then press the ENTER button 3; the new password will be set, make sure to write it down.
