Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn on the unit; the STANDBY indicator will go out.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray, “OPEN” will appear in the display. Insert a disc with the label side facing up on the disc tray.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button 1 to close the disc tray. “LOAD” will appear on the screen and in the display. After loading, the index screen of the DVD should appear. Use the Navigation (Ã,¨,¹, ) buttons 2 to select the desired title to play and the ENTER button ❸ to select it; playback will start automatically. Select "NEXT" or "PREV" then press the ENTER button 3 to turn the index screen to the Previous/Next page of the index.

To stop playback, press the STOP (■) button 1; “PSTOP” (Pre-stop) will appear on the TV screen. Because the unit will remember where you stopped, simply press the PLAY (¨) button 2 to resume playback where you left off (resuming playback).

If the STOP (■) button 1 is pressed twice, the TV screen shows “STOP” and the unit will stop completely.

NOTE:

•After finishing playback of all titles, the index screen of the DVD will appear on the TV screen.
