RECORDING

IMPORTANT:

When “INVALID” appears while pressing a button, this means that the corresponding function cannot be performed either on the disc inserted, or in the selected mode.

DISPLAY BUTTON:

Insert a DVD+R or DVD+RW, during recording or if the source is set to Tuner, F-A/V, F-SV, R-A/V, R-SV or DV, press the DISPLAY button to view the control options. Press the Navigation (Ã,¨) buttons to select the desired icon, then press the ENTER button to select it. Once selected, press the Navigation (¹, ) buttons or the Number buttons to change the option, then the ENTER button to confirm the change.

When finished, press the DISPLAY button to remove the control options from the TV screen.

Append Mode: Record as a new title.

Source: Select the desired source (F-A/V jacks, R-A/V jacks, etc.)

Record Quality: Select one of the following: HQ (Highest Quality–60 minutes), SP (Standard Play–120 minutes), EP (Extended Play–240 minutes), SLP (Standard Long Play–360 minutes).

Mode Select the current mode, Stop or Record.

Titles: Shows the number of titles recorded on the inserted CD.

Chapter: When not recording, shows the number of chapters recorded on the last title of the DVD+R or DVD+RW disc. When recording, shows the current chapter number and the total number of the chapters on the current title.

Elapsed/Remaining Time: Cycles between the Remaining and the Elapsed times.
