CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED)

PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK (VCD)

This unit has a 99 track programmable memory that allows you to program up to 99 tracks on any disc for playback in any desired order. You may program 99 different tracks or you may also program certain tracks to play more than once. To perform programmed playback, proceed as follows:

While in the Playback mode, press the DISPLAY button 1 to bring up the control options. Select the Playback mode option using the Navigation (Ã,¨) buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3. Select PROG using the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3.

Two boxes will then appear on the screen; the left box will show all available tracks on the DVD and the right box will show the program. To select a track to program, select a track using the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 1, then press the ADD/CLEAR button 2; it will then be added to the right program box.

To delete a single track, select the right program box using the Navigation (¨) button 1, then select the desired track to delete using the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 1, followed by the ADD/CLEAR button 2.

Select the top selection in the right program box, then click the ENTER button 1 to start playback. Press the DISPLAY button 2 to exit the DISPLAY MENU.

TO STOP/CANCEL THE PROGRAM FUNCTION:

To cancel the Program function, press the DISPLAY button 1, select the Playback mode option using the Navigation (Ã,¨) buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3. Select NORMAL using the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3 OR press the STOP button 4 twice to stop the program playback.

NOTE: The program memory will be kept until the disc is changed or the unit is turned off to the Standby mode.
