CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION
PLAYBACK OF A CD/VCD

Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn on the unit; the STANDBY indicator will go out.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray, “OPEN” will appear on the screen and in the display. Insert a disc with the label side facing up on the disc tray.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc tray. “LOAD” will appear on the screen and the display. After loading, playback will start immediately. For CD, two boxes will appear on the screen; the left box will show all available tracks on the CD.
When playing back a CD, select the desired track using the Navigation (¹, ) buttons 1, then press the ENTER button 2 to start playback of the selected track.
When playing back a VCD, select the track using the SKIP (n) 3 or (o) 4 button.

TURNING PBC (PlayBack Control) ON OR OFF
When playing a VCD with PBC function, you can enjoy simple interactive software on your TV.

To pause playback, press the PAUSE button 1; PAUSE will appear on the screen. Press the PLAY (¨) button 2 to continue playback.
For a VCD, press the PAUSE/STEP button 1 to pause the picture. Repeatedly press the PAUSE/STEP button 1 to play the VCD one frame at a time. Press the PLAY (¨) button 2 to continue playing back the VCD.
