•Setting output power
➀Push [DISPLAY] for 2 sec. to select quick set mode.
➁Push [MENU] one or more times to select Q1 RF POWER.
➂Rotate the main dial to select the desired output.

•Setting microphone gain
Microphone gain must be adjusted properly so that your signal does not distort when transmitted.
➀Select SSB or another phone mode.
➁Push [DISPLAY] for 2 sec. to select quick set mode.
➂Push [MENU] one or more times to select Q2 MIC GAIN.
•The ALC meter is selected automatically when operat- ing in SSB mode.
➃While speaking into the microphone adjust the mic gain so that the ALC meter does not peak past the ALC zone.
➄Push [DISPLAY] to exit quick set mode.
