3 SHUTTLE RING

1.Set VIDEO MODE in the First Time Set Up menu for either color or black and white. When black and white is set, color recordings are played in black and white.

2.Load a pre-recorded tape. (If the erasure prevention tab has been removed, the VCR automatically begins playback mode.)

3.Press the PLAY button to start playback.

4.Press the REC/PLAY MODE (+) or (-) buttons to select the desired playback mode.

A tape recorded in SP mode cannot be played back in 6H or L18H mode.

A tape recorded in EP mode cannot be played back in 2H, 24H or L24H mode.

5.Press the STOP button to halt playback.

Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the left to rewind the tape when the VCR is in stop mode.

Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right to fast forward the tape when the VCR is in stop mode.
