PLAYBACK

OPERATION

iWhen restart record is selected, and a power failure occurs, the VCR will automatically go into record mode when power is restored.

iWhen the PAUSE button is pressed during playback, the VCR will go into still mode. To return to playback, press the PAUSE or PLAY button. If the VCR is in still mode for longer 10 minutes the VCR will automatically resume normal playback.

iWhen playing back tapes recorded in various time modes, the picture may be slightly unstable depending on the time mode.

NOTICE

iReverse playback is released after 1 minute and the VCR returns to normal playback.

iThe time mode cannot be changed during reverse playback (only in SPA2 and EPA6).

iWhen playing back a tape that has been recorded in the modes which are excepted for SPA2 and EPA6, pay attention to the following points.

The picture may be somewhat horizontally unstable however, this is not a malfunction of the VCR.

The upper section of the picture on the monitor screen may be distorted. This is not an abnormality.

iThe picture may be vertically unstable during playback in the modes which are excepted for SPA2 and EPA6. This is not an abnormality.

iThe advance Slow/Still playback images are Clean Slow/Still excepted of the bellow 2 images.

The picture may be unstable during playback for images at Field Advance Slow/Still in SPA2 mode recorded, or for images at Reverse Field Advance Slow/Reverse Still in EP mode. But those are not abnormality.

iThe picture may be unstable during reverse playback, but this is not an abnormality.

iWhen returning to normal playback after picture search, the picture may wobble for a short while.

iThe screen will disturb when the tape passes from a SP record area to EP record area, or from an EP record area to SP record area in one of the following playback modes: SP24 ~ SP960, EP30 ~ EP960 and Field advance slow. If this occurs, playback once in the SPA2 or EPA6 mode, and then return to the original mode.
