Switching the Angle

of the Image (Multi-Angle)

DVD.

With DVDs featuring recordings of pictures shot from dif- ferent angles, you can choose any desired viewing angle

during playback. The mark is placed on the jacket of a DVD that has multiple angles.

If the mark is displayed during playback, press ANGLE .

Press ANGLE again to select the desired angle.

The angle changes each time ANGLE is pressed.

Note

÷ is displayed on the screen when you come to a place where multiple angles have been recorded.

÷ When the angle is switched during a pause, the pause is cleared.

÷ In some DVDs the angle can be switched also in the disc menu screen.

÷ When you do not want to be displayed, set the [Angle Indicator] to off in the initial setup menu (page 32).

When a DVD with subtitles that have been recorded in multiple languages is being played back, the subtitles dis- played can be changed.

Press SUBTITLE during playback of the

DVD.

The currently selected subtitles are displayed.

Press theSUBTITLE button again.

The subtitle display changes each time SUBTITLE is pressed.

÷To cancel the subtitles, press CLEAR after pressing SUBTITLE, or press SUBTITLE and select [OFF].

÷In some DVDs subtitle can be switched also in the disc menu screen. In that case, press MENU and select after the menu is displayed. (page 17)

÷The subtitle language here is temporary. When playback has been stopped, it returns to the subtitle language se- lected by [Subtitle Language] (page 33) of the initial setup menu.
