Setting/correcting the current time

Set the current date and time.

1.Move the (pointer) to “WEEKLY TIMER”

by pressing or .

2.Press or and set to ON.

3.Press ENTER .

÷The Weekly Timer setting screen is displayed.

4.Press ENTER .

÷The date/time setting screen is displayed blinking.

5.Set the time of the day.

÷Set figures in order of year (2 digits), month, day, day of the week, hour, minute and second.

3-4and that this screen is the first of these pages.

Note

÷The internal clock has a tolerance of approximately ±2 minutes per month. (The amount varies depending on the usage environment.)

÷The built-in clock is powered by a capacitor. The clock of this unit functions even when it is in the STANDBY mode, provided that the AC cord is plugged into a power outlet. If the AC cord is unplugged, the clock can con- tinue functioning for 7 to 10 days (when the capacitor is fully charged and at 25°C) .

÷Weekly timer setting is kept remembered as if AC cord is unplugged for long times.

These figures can be input in any of the fol- lowing two methods.

A. Input using the numeric buttons and NEXT

B. Input using or and ENTER

÷“A” and “B” in the following description refers respec- tively to the two operation methods above.

set of figures (the month in this case). Set the month, date, day of the week, hour, minute and second, and press ENTER to complete the setting operation.

To correct the date or time

When the setting screen appears in step 3 above, press

so that the figures of the year start to blink. Then press NEXT 4 times so that the figures of hour blink, and set them with the same method as above.
