To access the ADV. SETUP menu

Press and hold SETUP for one second.

The screen displays the special menu shown in the figure on the left (hereafter called the ADV.SETUP menu).

To set a parameter, for example, the weekly timer, select

WEEKLY TIMER with ,setting ON/OFF, etc. with

ENTER

. If a parameter is set to ON, press and per- form the setting instructions as prompted on the screen.

Likewise, for power-on start, select POWER ON START with

A similar procedure is used to set the other parameters with

In order to set up the unique functions of the DVD-V7300D, there are settings for 15 parameters that are made by the remote control unit.

1WEEKLY TIMER

The time for turning the power on and off can be set for each day of the week; moreover, the title and chapter where play- back is to start can also be set. The player is limited to a maxiamm of 24 settings at one time. This function makes unmanned operation possible.

OFF: The WEEKLY TIMER function does not operate.

ON: The WEEKLY TIMER function operates.

2POWER ON START

This function sets whether or not automatic playback is to start when the power is switched on.

OFF: The POWER ON START function does not operate.

ON: The POWER ON START function operates. It is also necessary to set the playback title and chapter to iden- tify the starting point for playback. If this starting point is not identified, the player waits in the playback stop status.

4REPEAT MODE

Select OFF/CHAPTER/TITLE/DISC from the menu.

When TITLE PLAY MODE is set to ALL,DISC is be selected.

OFF: The DVD player plays back in the normal status and does not repeat.

CHAPTER:One selected chapter only is repeated (DVD). One selected track only is repeated (Video CD, CD).

TITLE: Playing back repeats only one title (DVD). Playing back repeats the entire disc (Video CD, CD).

DISC: Playing back repeats the entire disc (DVD only).

5BAUD RATE

This sets the baud rate of the RS-232C interface. Two baud rates of 4800 bps and 9600 bps can be selected.

6TRAY LOCK

When set to ON, the opening and closing action of the disc tray is locked.

Advanced Operations

3TITLE PLAY MODE

Single: When a single title has been selected in this mode, the DVD player stops when this one title has been played back.

All: When this mode has been selected, the player plays back each title on a DVD disc in turn until all have been played.

7BLACKBOARD LOCK

When set to ON, entering the video blackboard input mode is prevented.

8STACK MODE OSD

This controls ON/OFF switching of the OSD when executing a stack.

ON: The STACK display appears on the screen when ex- ecuting a stack and when searching.

OFF: The STACK display does not appear on the screen.
