PLETED/PLEASE TURN OFF VCR FOR TIMER RECORDING should appear on the screen. (If PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED appears, begin again from step 1.) After five seconds, the on- screen display will disappear.

Press the POWER button to turn off the VCR. The VCR must be turned off for a timer recording to take place.

The TIMER light will appear on the display panel of the VCR when you turn off the VCR. The TIMER light and the Cassette-Inside light will flash if there is not a tape in the VCR.

The VCR must be off for a timer

To exit the VCR Plus+ programming system at any step, press the EXIT/STATUS button.

PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED/ CLASH may appear on-screen for five seconds at step 6 if the timer recording you programmed overlaps with another timer recording. Then, the timer recording menu will appear. To cancel the overlapping timer recording, follow the steps on page 37.
