pg. 56, 67)) stored in memory six at a time. Use this mode when looking for a file you wish to view or hear.

1Perform steps 1 and 2 of “Normal Playback” on pg. 30.

2	To display the Index Screen . . .
	… for images, go to step 3.
	… for video clips ( pg. 61), press SET/SELECT
	once to engage the video clip mode. “E-CLIP”
	appears. Then go to step 3.
	… for sound effects ( pg. 56), press SET/SELECT
	twice to engage the sound effect mode.

3Press INDEX. The Index Screen appears.

4Press + or – to move the green frame to the desired file and press SET/SELECT. The file selected in the Index Screen is displayed or played back.

•To start playback of the selected video clip, press 4/6. To stop playback midway, press 5.

•To start playback of the selected sound effect, press D.SOUND.

You can call up directly a file you want to play back by specifying its index number.

1During normal playback of images, press SET/ SELECT repeatedly to select the type of file you want to play back.

2Press FOCUS/BLANK. The Jump Screen appears.

Press + or – to enter the index number of the desired

3 file and press SET/SELECT.

•The file for the selected index number is displayed.

•To cancel the Jump Playback while the Jump
