AXIS Q1931–E PT Mount Thermal Network Camera

Applications

If the Axis product is reset to factory default, installed applications and their settings are removed. For information about factory default, see Reset to Factory Default Settings.

AXIS Cross Line Detection

The application AXIS Cross Line Detection is included in this product. AXIS Cross Line Detection is a trip-wire application which enables the operator to configure a virtual line in the camera view. When a moving object crosses this virtual line, the event system can be used to trigger actions.

Install Axis Application

If a factory default reset has been performed, the application license has to be downloaded from axis.com/applications. Follow these steps:

1.Download the application from www.axis.com/applications/

2.Install the application in the Axis product.

3.To obtain the license key, register the license code (delivered with the product) and the Axis product’s serial number at www.axis.com/applications/register.

4.Install the license key file(s) on the Axis product(s) through the product’s web pages.

Configure AXIS Cross Line Detection

The AXIS Cross Line Detection application must be configured before use. Follow these steps:

1.Navigate to Applications, select AXIS Cross Line Detection in the application list and click Start.

2.Navigate to Applications > Cross Line > Settings and click the link Cross Line Detection Settings under Application Settings.

3.Select the number of segments from the Segments drop-down list.
