Both the menu interface and the Alt Mode interface can be used interchangeably for performing most receiver setup tasks, since both are operated via receiver op- erating system software. However, not all menu interface functions are duplicated by the Alt Mode interface. Depending on how you have installed and connected the Headend Satellite Receiver, you may or may not be able to use the menu inter- face.
