Radio mode
To switch between the wavebands FM, MW and LW,
press the BAND button ?. The "Tuner" menu is displayed.
Press the softkey "Band" 7 in FM mode or 6in AM mode.
The "Band" menu for the selection of the waveband is displayed.
Press the softkey "FM" 6, "MW" 7or "LW" ;.
The radio changes to the selected wave- band.
To switch between the memory banks FM1, FM2 and FMT in the FM waveband or be- tween MW and LW in the AM waveband,
press the NEXT button 2.
Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a station.
Automatic station seek tuning
Press the or button @.
The radio tunes into the next receivable station.
Note:
If the priority for traffic information is active (the display shows the traffic jam symbol B), the next traffic information station is set.
Tuning into stations manually
You can also tune into stations manually.
Note:
You can only tune into stations manu- ally if the convenient RDS function is deactivated.
To change the set frequency in small incre- ments,
briefly press the or button >. To change the set frequency quickly,
press and hold down the or button >for a longer period of time.
Browsing through broadcasting networks (FM only)
If a radio station provides several pro- grammes, you have the option of browsing through its

Press the or button > to switch to the next station on the broadcasting network.
Note:
When using this feature, you will only be able to switch to stations that you have received once before already. To receive the stations, use the Scan or Travelstore function.
Adjusting the sensitivity of the station seek tuning (Sensitivity)
You can choose whether the radio should only tune into stations providing good re- ception or whether it can also tune into those with a weak reception. The sensitivity can be adjusted from 1 (low) to 6 (high).
Press the BAND button ?.
The display shows the first page of the "Tuner" menu.
