Display

Pressing any button returns you from the screen saver to the display of the current audio source.

Notes:

The screen saver is interrupted if, for example, a traffic announcement or a phone call is received.

As long as you are in a menu, the screen saver is not displayed.

If the device is in demo mode, the screen saver is not displayed.

You can replace the factory-selected image of the screen saver with your own. For further details, please read the section "Changing wallpapers of the display" in this chapter.

To switch the screen saver on or off,

￿press the MENU button A. The menu is displayed.

￿Press the softkey "Display Settings"

The "Display" menu appears.

￿Press the softkey "Screen Saver" 6:

: The screen saver is switched on.

: The screen saver is switched off.

When you have finished making your changes,

￿press the OK button Brepeatedly un- til you reach the desired menu level for additional settings or completely exit the menu.

Changing wallpapers of the display

You can replace the following factory-se- lected wallpapers with your own images:

The wallpaper which appears if "AUX" is selected as audio source.

The wallpaper which appears if the time is displayed while the radio is switched off and the vehicle ignition is switched on (for further details, please read the section "Displaying time permanently with device switched off and ignition switched on" in the chapter "Clock").

The image of the screen saver (for fur- ther details, please read the section "Activating/deactivating the screen saver" in this chapter.).

For your images to be displayed, they must be created using the BMP file format. For the images to be displayed without dis- tortion, they should ideally have a size of 270 x 96 pixels.

The images must be available as a file on a CD and this CD must be in the drive of the device.

The CD browser appears and the directories and files of the CD are displayed as a list.
