CD-changer mode

Random track play (MIX)

￿If necessary, use the NEXT button 2 to change to the CD changer display.

To play the tracks on the current CD in ran- dom order,

￿press the softkey "MIX" 6once or sev- eral times until "MIX CD" is displayed.

Info line 2 H permanently displays "Mix CD".

To play the tracks on all inserted CDs in ran- dom order,

￿press the softkey "MIX" 6once or sev- eral times until "MIX ALL" is displayed.

Info line 2 H permanently displays "Mix All".

Cancelling MIX

￿press the softkey "MIX" 6once or sev- eral times until "MIX OFF" is displayed.

Info line 2 H no longer displays "Mix CD" or "Mix All".

Scanning all tracks on all CDs (Scan)

To scan (briefly play) all the tracks on all the inserted CDs in ascending order,

￿press the OK button Bfor longer than 2 seconds.

The next track will then be scanned. "SCAN" and the current track number are intermit- tently shown on the display.

Note:

You can set the scan time. For further information, please read the section entitled "Setting the scanning time" in the "Radio mode" chapter.

Stopping Scan

To stop scanning,

￿briefly press the OK button B.

The currently played track will then contin- ue to be played normally.

Naming a CD (CDN)

You can name the individual CDs in the CD changer for easier identification. In addi- tion, you can change or delete the name of a CD. The device is capable of storing names for up to 30 CDs.

Naming a CD or changing a name (Edit CD Name)

￿If necessary, use the NEXT button 2 to change to the CD changer display.

￿Press the softkey "CDN" ;.

The menu for editing CD names is dis- played.

To rename the current CD or change the name of the CD,

￿press the softkey "Edit CD Name" 6.

The 7-character text input is displayed. The first character is highlighted.

To switch between the entry positions,

￿press the or button >.

To select a character at an entry position,

￿press the or button @.

To save the name entered and to exit the text input,

￿press the OK button B.
