Root folder

Main folder of a data carrier. The root folder contains all other folders.

Shape CDs

A shape CD is a CD whose form deviates from the usual circular shape. It can be cor- nered or contoured. The non-circular form does not allow the device to correctly cent- er and read the CD in the drive. This results in damage to the CD drive.

Broadcasting network

A broadcasting network is the offer of sev- eral stations with different programmes of a broadcasting station.

Subwoofer, Subout

Separate low-bass loudspeaker. The de- vice has a Subout preamplifier output. You can connect either an active subwoofer or a separate power amplifier with subwoofer.

TA – Traffic Announcement

The car sound system plays traffic reports at a predefined volume, even if you current- ly listen to a different audio source (e.g. CD, AUX) or if the radio is muted.

Travelstore

Automatic searching and storing of the six strongest radio stations received of the re- gion.

Tuner

Receiving unit of the radio.

X-BASS

X-Bass allows for boosting the bass at low volume levels. This renders the sound rich- er at a low volume.
