15 Repeat Play Selector (RPT) 21 Disc Eject Button

During disc play, press the RPT button (15) to repeat the playback of a desired track (S-RPT appears on the display panel). Play of the selected track will continue to repeat until the Track Repeat function is cancelled by pressing the button again or by activating the Scan or Random play function, causing the “S-RPT” indication to disappear. You can also cancel Repeat Play mode by activating the Track Scan or Random Play functions.

16Random Play Mode (SHF) Selector

During disc play, press the SHF button (16) to play the tracks on the disc in a random or shuffled order (“S-SHF” appears on the display panel). In Random Play mode, pressing the up or down MANU/SKIP buttons (6) will select tracks in a random order instead of the normal progression. To cancel, press the SHF button again. The “S-SHF” indication disappears. You can also cancel Random Play mode by activating the Track Scan or Random Play functions.

Press the CD OPEN CLOSE EJ button (21) to allow the front panel to fold down, exposing the disc slot (22). Press and hold the CD OPEN CLOSE EJ button to eject the disc and revert to radio operation. Discs may be ejected with the vehicle ignition switch on or off. If an ejected disc is not removed from the disc slot within 15 seconds of being ejected, the disc will be re- inserted automatically, and the disc symbol will reappear on the display to show that a disc is still installed in the unit.

NOTE: To prevent a disc from accidentally being damaged, always remove the disc from the unit when disc play is finished.
