6.5RECYCLING THE BATTERY

When this Life Fitness product is about to be discarded at the end of its useful life, the rechargeable battery must first be removed and recycled. If an optional external power supply is present, it must be disconnected before the battery is removed. To access the battery, remove the right-side pedal crank and shroud. To remove the battery, disconnect the cable, and remove the two screws holding

the battery to the bracket.

6.6HOW TO OBTAIN PRODUCT SERVICE

1.Verify the symptom and review the operating instructions. The problem may be unfamil- iarity with the product and its features and workouts.

2.Locate and document the serial number of the unit. This number consists of three letters followed by six numbers. The serial number plate is located on the front stabilizer at the bottom of the unit.
