Changing the light bulb

The machine will not operate if the light bulb is burnt out.

^Disconnect the power supply to the work area by unplugging the unit, tripping the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.

^Open the detergent dispenser drawer. Remove the tool from the rear side of the panel.

^Open the drum door.

^Insert the tool into the slit of the light bulb, turn counterclockwise until resistance is felt.

^Pull out the drum lighting.

^Press together the hooks of the plastic fitting, 2, to separate it from the bulb,1.

^Replace the bad light bulb with a new one.

A replacement bulb can be obtained by contacting Miele.

The light bulb must not exceed the maximum wattage listed on the data plate.

^Insert the light bulb into the plastic fitting.

^Insert the drum lighting in the socket and turn clockwise.

To use the washer it is absolutely necessary to have the light bulb properly installed.
