Use candy/meat thermometer to measure hot water temperature at nearby faucet. Water temperature should be at least 140°F (60°C). Adjust water heater as necessary.
Hot water being used elsewhere in house
Avoid using hot water elsewhere before or during washer use, or there may not be enough hot water for proper cleaning. If problem continues, enlarge capacity of hot water system, or use for only one application at a time.
