Either more than one disk drive has failed, or an array that is not complete has be connected to the IBM SerialRAID Adapter.
If no disk drives have been added to this system, go to Step 015.
If one or more disk drives have been added to this system, and those disk drives previously members of an array on this system or on another system, you must do the following:
– Do the | actions that are described in “Deleting a Resource from the System Resource |
List” on | page 43. |
– Select the array that is in the Offline state, and delete it.
That array is now a free resource.
– Do the | actions that | are | described in | “Removing a | Disk Drive from an Array” on |
page 43, | and remove | all | the disk drives | from the | array. |
You can now use those disk drives as free resources.
–Locate and repair all failed disk drives, and make those disk drives available for t creation of a new array.
