5) LOCAL CONTROL ON/OFF

This function determines whether the CN piano’s sound will be played from the piano’s keyboard (‘ON’) or only from an external MIDI instrument (‘OFF’). Even with local control set to ‘OFF’ the piano’s keyboard will still transmit to external MIDI devices and instruments or a personal computer.

Step1

Hold down the TOUCH and TRANSPOSE buttons and press the CHURCH ORGAN button.

Hold down both buttons.

The display will alternate between showing ‘LcL’ (Local) and on/off status. The default is on.

Step2

Use the VALUE buttons to toggle local control on and off.

When local control is set to ‘OFF’, there will be no sound heard when the keys are pressed.

The CN piano’s local control setting defaults to ‘ON’ each time the power is turned on.
