1. CODE APPROVALS

 

These appliances have been tested by Canadian Standards Association. and found to comply with the established standards for GAS FIRED VENTED ROOM HEATER in CANADA and the USA as follows:-

TESTED TO: ANSI Z21.11.1b-1993, CAN 1-2.1M 86.

2. SPECIFICATIONS

ENVIROGAS 828 VENTED ROOM HEATER

This unit must be vented using certified B Vent venting.

has been certified for use with either natural or propane gases. (see rating label.)

is not for use with solid fuels.

is approved for bedroom or bedsitting room.

Fireplace Insert must be installed on a non-combustible surface.

must be installed in accordance with local codes.

If none exist use current installation code CAN/CGA B149 in Canada or ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 in the USA.

must be properly connected to a venting system.

WARNING: For Fireplace Insert, installation only in a solid fuel burning fireplace with a

working flue and constructed of non combustible material, using a certified chimney liner kit.
