Installing the Substage Condenser (cont.)

4.Push the substage condenser under the specimen stage into the holder by alig- ning the locating pin on the bottom of the condenser with the slot on the rear side of the fork.

5.Move the condenser into the highest posi- tion by using the condenser focusing knob on the left side of the stage mount.

6.Tighten the two setscrews using the tool included in the delivery package (or, for a Koehler stand, tighten the two wingscrews) so that the upper lens of the condenser is centered under the objective in working position and the substage condenser is
